Kala Ka-B Baritone

After all this talk on a Baritone, I had to get one of them in my hands, I have an amazon credit card that gives me points, and there were enough to get me this uke--like a free little uke gift!

Strung the way it came with the Aquilas. It actually sounds lovely--very fun using guitar chording again. Off to Dr Uke to read some barry charts.

This will be my getting to know you barry, to learn string sets and see what it can do. But knowing the way I like older instruments I'll eventually move to bigger game.

Great to be in the Barry world!

Good for you! I've yet to venture into Barry world, but expect to at some point. What fun for you! :)

Wooo Hooooooo Congrats on your Baritone....I love the deep sound from them....and I learned to tune by ear with them and easier to figure chords out for songs because it has more volume
Happy Strummings..

Congratulations on the Bari! Should be fun! I have a Kala that I don't actually play much, but enjoy when I do.
However I had to post as what are the odds that the 1st three of four post would be from Portlanders!
Enjoy your Bari!

Soon you'll be shopping for a vintage Martin baritone, might as well start looking.

Oh, I've found one. I'd love to have this one, but I think it's a bit spendy (which BTW, is a PDX term that my fellow PDX'rs will understand. As you might have guessed, it means expensive.)

Still, it's beautiful.
