I had an MU 70-- which is essentially their sprucetop lamninate, where the 100 is their koa laminate...
It was really pretty to look at.
I would recommend the 70 to beginners, but for that price, you could get a solid wood instrument from a better manufacturer. Look into Ohanas.

The only Mitchell I ever had my hands on buzzed all up and down the neck,but as I said I only have seen one of them.

Mine didn't do that... it just was really quiet.
