Anyone own an Earnest Stradelele?

Anyone own one of these ukes? What do you think of it?

It's been on my radar for a few years now, been thinking about it more lately

I don't but Jim D'Ville does.

Sounded wonderful when he was playing.

When Joel Eckhaus was at the Electric City Uke Fest last fall, I asked about his Strad - he didn't have on on display - and he apologized, but the bridge had come off while he was coming down from Maine.

I'm afraid I might have had to buy it, if I played it. It was a near thing with one of his electric steel string ukes...

I don't own one, but I have played one at Joel's. It was very nice. I've wanted one myself.
I assume you have seen the John King videos?

Yep...John King is what started the thinking about getting one.
