The more traditional sopranos feature, solid linings, 15 and 25 foot radiused back and front, bolt on neck, carbon fiber reinforcement, French polish, and HHG for soundboard, back, fret board and Bridge. Backs and sides are Sapele, walnut, and Alaskan birch from clearing my little organic farm years ago.

The rosebud styled one turned out better than I would have guessed. I was originally going to go for another body, but my laminating didn’t work out for what I had planned so I fell back on another one of that shape. This time it has a bolt on neck.

This time I had my 12 year old son do the sound clip, his main instrument is guitar, but he’s getting pretty good on the uke too. He just played his first big gig at the Fairbanks winter folk fest solo on stage, he finished his set with a song on one of my ukes. I guess I’m way more proud of my kids than my ukes.
