I'm moving to Thailand in about 6 weeks! Not sure which part yet as I'm going to be assigned to a school to teach English and it could be anywhere.

I hear through the grapevine that there's a thriving ukulele community in Bangkok. I am very happy to hear that.

Sawatdee! Welcome to UU. Do you know about Ribbee Boutique in Bangkok?, they are a great resource and offer lessons too. You should also look for the Apple show on Youtube, she does a lot of great ukulele videos of Thai songs.
