Anybody play one of these? Would you use standard guitar tuning? Any other thoughts

D-VIs are awesome, I don't have one but I've tried one out and i've wanted one for a while...

"standard tuning" would be ADGCEA (lowest to highest)

Daniel Ho plays his tuned to GCFCEA (I think he calls it C-Kilauea tuning)...the advantage is you can play the bottom 3 strings just like any other uke and the open top strings give you access to the I, IV, V bass notes in the key of C

According to KoAloha's web site
The D-VI 6 String Ukulele is a unique ukulele. It has a Tenor Ukulele body and Gloss Finish. It also shares the same sound as the Tenor, however it can be tuned just like a guitar (regular or Slack Key Relative Tuning).

I am assuming that you can be creative with the tuning of this model. Maybe different strings different ways?
