Figured I'd post this here since its a ukulele company with a new product line. Received my long awaited pono op10 last week and wanted to give a little bit of a review for folks since its such an unknown guitar. Here are the stats:
Size and Style: O
Headstock: Slotted
Cutaway: no
Back and Sides: Solid Acacia
Top: Solid Cedar
Top and Back Binding: Rosewood with top purfling
Fingerboard and Bridge: Rosewood
Bridge Pins: Ebony with pearl inlay
Scale Length: 24 3/4"
Body width: 13 1/2"
Fingerboard Width at Nut: 1 3/4"
Finish: Satin Matte

My opinion on this guitar is that its fantastic. I've been using it for fingerstyle and strumming so far and perfectly fits my needs. It's nice and articulate with great finger spacing. The best comparison I have to feel is my mcilroy which is 4x the price at least. The body is a great comfortable size. My biggest hesitation was that it would be too small. It's not and feels comfortable standing or sitting. The 12fret neck is new to me but I like it so far.
Tone wise it does well beyond its size. It keeps up with my mcilroy and my yahama dread with ease. It has some of the small body parlor flair to its tone but not muffled or boxy at all. The body is much deeper than I expected an is similar but far superior to the recording king nick lucas small deep body guitars. The pono is a far superior guitar compared to that.
On my search for a small body I owned the recording king rnj17 and guild m120. For the price this blows those out of the water and has a handmade feel to it which I love. I know a few of these have sold at amazing prices on eBay last week and I am jealous. I'm not the best at describing so if there are questions toss them up and I will answer the best I can. Photos will be posted soon.
