Using a capo on Fluke?

I really like using my capo for my Lanikai, especially for singing. I'm getting a Fluke with plastic fretboard-- will it chew up the plastic? I know a lot of people have talked about the fretboard's gradual wearing from just fingers.

i think you should be alright, i have a crappy old uke with a plastic fretboard that i use a full sized Kyser capo on and it hasnt seemed to effect it in any way... just remember not to leave it on the uke for extended periods.
