New Uke (Layaway) Day

Ok. This may be jumping the gun, but I can't contain it.

Today after work, I made the short drive to Uke Republic and tried out the Pono Acacia Tenor I've had my eye on. I put it on layaway to be paid off in 4 to 6 weeks. Mike and Donna were great, as always.

Thanks to UU for all that has been posted about Pono ukes and the AT in particular. It helped my decision immensely. This is the first time I sat in the store and didn't eye all the other ukes. I knew this was the one.

Looking forward to posting the "real" new uke day post in a little over a month.

Here's my layaway congrats for now.
Just bought a gently used Koa Pono 6 string, man what a uke.....love it.........

Congrats! It is always good when you see/hear the uke that is "the one"
I hope that uke brings you many years of joy! I still have a few in my fleet that I won't part with for this very reason.

Congrats! I have an older koa Pono. They are wonderful instruments!
