In other words, New Uke Day (NUD) = No Work Day (NWD).

I'm supposed to be working today. Deadlines, meetings, conference calls loom. But Fedex says that this instrument:

I'm too excited and distracted to get any work done. What should I do?

Discipline, grasshopper, discipline!

I work from home so I have to force myself to wait until lunch/cob to play with my toys or I'd never get anything done!

You think you're distracted now?! Wait til this afternoon when that box is propped up in the corner of your office minute after minute...hour after hour. Calling your name. Big as life right there in the room with you.

I think you'll need to come down with the flu on your way back from the mail room.

Ha, I was like that when my new uke came in on Monday. I had lots of meetings, which killed a bunch of time, and then used the new uke as encouragement to get a bunch off things off my to do list so I could leave at 5:30 and not feel stressed about it. Looking forward to your NUD photos.
