Mya-Moe 1212 configuration figured

That wood is pretty! How is Cocobolo as a tonewood? I ordered my MM mahogany baritone in September and the build begins in two weeks; at times it seems like I've waited forever and at other times it seems like I ordered that ukulele yesterday. I used to believe that time flies when you're having fun, but now I realize that, with the exception of dentist visits and bad dates, time flies whether you have fun or not.

I've never played a Cocobolo ukulele or guitar, but I do have three guitars built with Brazilian rosewood. They are defiantly brighter than the others and the sustain is very long. Brazilian was my first choice but not available for 1212. Char recommended Indian Rosewood or Cocobolo Rosewood. I'm sure I'll be satisfied. We have 919 built with Koa, so this 1212 will be at the opposite end of the spectrum.
