very nice!

Very slick plastic. Very little friction, but the purpleheart is a dense wood to cut. The blade is loosely gripped by the white UHMWPE, keeping it on track. The set of the teeth is clear for the last 10mm of cut. The blade guide increases blade stiffness and glides across the Bakelite shims. I use this on my 5 shooting boards. I have different thickness shims for guitar and bass fingerboards. The jig was a quick build and the blade guide was done in 1 piece with the slot cut on the tablesaw. Shims take up the gaps on either side of the blade, held by the 2 bolts. I was going to set in 2 magnets to hold the saw blade, but found it was not neccessary.
