Hello,I have watched a few videos and have decided I want to install a pickup on my ukulele.I watched this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdLUDWoh-cE ,but I cant seem to find what I need online.Can someone please post everything I need.


I know nothing about installing pickups at all,so I don't understand anything about the materials.

No responses yet, huh? Probably because most players don't do their own installs. If you know nothing about installing pickups, take it someone who does.

Just for your information, if you want to know about materials, here's what I use to install an LRBaggs Element UST or Fishman Matrix UST (take it with some grains of salt, I may be forgetting somthing):

Cordless Drill
Forstner bit, 7/16", I think (and painters tape)
Reamer
7/32" drill bit
Wire stripper
soldering iron
rosin core solder
flux
Shrink wrap, black
dial caliper
String action guage http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tools/Measuring_tools/String_Action_Gauge.html
electronic tuner
files and sanding blocks
electronic volt/ohm meter
10mm box wrench
allen wrench (small size)
amp, cords, etc.
PPE (personal protective equipment)
