MF towel (12 x 12),Tuner, Nail Clipper, Humidifier & Capo . . .

Oh, yeah. Humidifiers. And hygrometers. I have 2.

I don't take them with me out of the house though. I'm afraid they will scratch my ukulele.

Bottle of wine

First thing I thought of...

03-08-2013, 11:17 AM
I think a custom case is in order for that . . .

Thompson submachine gun. This is Chicago, after all.

Stubby screwdriver, set of strings, micro-fiber cloth, band business cards and a Mobius Strap.

03-08-2013, 11:53 AM
nothing! But I don't travel, either, for medical reasons. . .

03-08-2013, 12:06 PM

03-08-2013, 12:12 PM
Tuner, nail file, capo, Mi-Si charger, spare batteries, humidifier, hygrometer.

Different cases have diffewrent items. Most have snark tuners, receipts from their purchase, receipts for upgrades and repairs and humidifiers. One has a "shaker" for rhythm effect and a stamp for writing chord finger positions on music. The resonator has an old handkechief for keeping it shiny. A few have straps or thongs.

03-08-2013, 12:19 PM
Up to an oz of pot, it is WA state after all! (just kidding, I carry a snark tuner, capo, strap and polishing cloth)

03-08-2013, 12:33 PM
Set of strings (Aquila at the moment), cloth, humidifier, tuner or tuning fork, business card, mobius strap, little philips screwdriver. Perhaps of interest? I could probably tell you exactly what's in every one of my 10 or so instrument cases and in my equipment bag - but I am not anywhere that organized in any other aspect of my life!

03-08-2013, 12:36 PM
Uke thong, tuner and spare battery, polishing cloth, nail file and little rubber pink flamingo.
Wait, what is a uke thong??

03-08-2013, 12:46 PM
Tuner and two spare sets of strings. Don't need the humidifier where I live, though I do keep tabs on the indoor humidity to make sure.

03-08-2013, 01:04 PM
Capo, pitch pipe, nail clipper, strap, humidifier, back up strings, nail file, charger for pickup

03-08-2013, 01:12 PM
tuner, a herco and 2 oasis humidifiers (really having trouble this winter keeping the humidity up) and the registration paperwork I have yet to send in

03-08-2013, 02:00 PM
Snark tuner, Herco humidifier, a couple of dollars in cash that I made busking (for emergencies, like buying coffee at the train station so I don't sleep past my stop), a used set of Worths (emergency strings), and usually something to write with.

If I bring the Flea out, I stuff whatever I can into the gig bag. Extra clothes, books, junk food, etc.

03-08-2013, 02:08 PM
A bikini and a pair of sunglasses

03-08-2013, 02:16 PM
Bunch of crumpled up lead sheets at the moment...

03-08-2013, 02:16 PM
Chords to romantic songs and keys to a make-out pad.

03-08-2013, 02:49 PM
That's too funny. It's exactly what my first thought was too.

it depends on the situation, always a humidifier. Sometimes strings, tuner, microfiber cloth.

03-08-2013, 03:02 PM
Yep, I've got a Snark in my cases as well, just forgot about it cause it almost seems to be a part of the uke itself.

03-08-2013, 03:03 PM
A tuner, a cloth, extra strings and a few little notes.

03-08-2013, 03:11 PM
Tuner, two humidifiers, hygrometer, extra strings, and a couple pieces of paper.

03-08-2013, 03:22 PM

03-08-2013, 03:36 PM
Not much...since I use a Kamoa case and those don't have storage compartments. But I do have a little pouch I keep under the headstock or in my bag. In that pouch are a Snark tuner, an extra set of strings, nail clippers, a small nail file, a tiny screwdriver, a string winder and a microfiber cloth.

Cases? I have too many of them. There's a pile of them behind my sofa. :(

03-08-2013, 05:10 PM
mini rubber stamp of blank ukulele phrets/chord and ink pad

03-08-2013, 08:39 PM
Humidifier, Souldier Uke Strap, extra strings, headstock tuner

Pretty much my tally - except Uke Leash rather than a strap, apart from the UBass.

mini rubber stamp of blank ukulele phrets/chord and ink pad

These things are great! I tend to just use a pencil when I'm at group lesson, then rub it out & use the stamp when I get home.

03-08-2013, 08:43 PM
Two straps, two tuners, a micro-fiber wiping cloth, humidifer, extra set of strings, and a string winder.

03-08-2013, 08:58 PM
Headstock tuner, 2 humidifiers, and strap.

03-08-2013, 09:33 PM
Two humidifiers -- one filled with Ketel One (um..to use as a dessicant for any excess H20.. )

03-08-2013, 11:09 PM

A spare G-String!

03-08-2013, 11:21 PM
Usually a bin bag to protect against UK weather!
And the usuals, a strap and tuner, aLaska picks in case I break a nail, and usually a sheet of paper with H's, W's, 1.5's and 2's on so I can work out various scales!

03-08-2013, 11:23 PM
A strap (in case I decide to use it,)
my tuner,a set of spare strings and
sometimes a few used ones for any
Plus a glass finger slide,a Phillips (cross
head) screwdriver,a pair of nail clippers
and a nail file. That covers most things!

03-09-2013, 09:20 AM

Oasis humidifier, G7th Performance capo for banjo (http://www.g7th.com/shop/products/1401) (the best I've found for an ukulele) nail clippers, Korg AW1 Tuner (http://www.amazon.com/Korg-Compact-Clip-On-Chromatic-String/dp/B000B6WXVM/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top)(old school, but I like it), antique woman's handkerchief in pastel green, embroidered with "Aloha" and a girl dancing hula (for wiping down my ukulele after playing), business cards, RhythmRing (http://www.rhythmring.com) (no, it is not a birth control device), little black velour-y pads around the base of my ukulele so it fits a bit tighter in the Oahu case.
