Heat Blanket

Found a heat blanket at a garage sale. It is a coremark 120 volt. Would like to wire a timer and dimmer switch to it, but no idea how to go about it. Anyone out there wired one or have a site that would show me how?

I wired a 3 receptacle electrical box to my workbench. Powr first to the timer, than on to the dimmer, then to the receptacle. I like having this because you can plug whatever you want into it to dim like a bending iron or use it all the way up with a hot glue gun that will turn off if I forget.
