Howdy, Hope I'm posting this in the right place. I couldn't find a "restoration" forum. I'm restoring an old Dixie banjo uke. I've made a new bridge, but I need to find some compatible friction tuning pegs. I'm not terrible concerned with perfect authenticity, just want to get it playing. Do any of you know of a brand that will work for the all metal uke. Hopefully one of you do know right of the bat. If not I can post some photos and describe the eccentricities of the Dixie more thoroughly. Thanks

Alnd,

I am using grover Sta-tite banjo pegs. 5/8" thick. they work great and look awesome. get em cheap on ebay for about 20 bones. I scored mine at elderly. hope that helped. when i was restoring mah banjo i wondered the same thing. here are a few pics.
