Here is the very cool TV show theme for Chico and the Man (1974-1978). It was composed by the great guitarist Jose Feliciano and is played here on my Ko'olau CE2 tenor. Hope you enjoy and thanks for listening:

That's superbly done. I remember the show. Only ran for four seasons, but unique.

As both Freddie P. and the Man, Jack A, have passed on, I wonder what has become of Jose F.

I have a CE-1 and love it, too.

Anyhow, that took a ton of practice, I can tell. Jazzy, closed chord splendor.

Shout out from IL.

I wonder what has become of Jose F.

Turns out he is alive and well and in the studio (http://josefeliciano.com/wp/ai1ec_event/jose-in-the-recording-studio/?instance_id=208) recording a new album. One of my favorite characters from the show was Scatman Crothers (May 23, 1910-November 22, 1986). "Stick out your can here comes the garbage man!" That little riff still runs in my head from time to time.

ukejon, superb, as usual!
