I want to wish all the UU members around the world a very Happy Saint Patrick's Day...wear your green, raise a Guinness in one hand and a ukulele in the other!

I've only got 1/4 Irish blood. But today at church even the Hispanic immigrants were wearing green. I love a holiday that invites everyone.

I'm half Irish...don't like beer...but I'm wearing the green! Our half Irish minister told Irish jokes this morning, and we danced to an Irish jig played on fiddle and guitar! Everyone can be Irish today!!!
 
I thought the Hawaiian Irish song was 'Lovely Houlihans' :)

I couldn't get enough of When Irish Eyes are Smiling, esp the verses. We all know the chorus and the verses have such a lovely melody! (soooo 'Irish' :) )

We did a gig at St Josephs in Issaquah, WA and were served Corned Beef and Cabbage!! We played said song above
as well as Too rah loo rah loo ral, Four Leaf Clover, Danny Boy, and other Irish-related tunes :)

Oh well, I guess we'll have to wait until next year... or do the Christmas in July thing and have St Patrick's Day in August maybe :)
