Soprano paddle, Brazilian mahogany sides, Braz mahog/lime back, spruce front, mahogany neck.
NO BENDING. yay.... no mould, either...
(Spruce linings and bars sized as shooting board refinement on other thread)
Work on front tomorrow: rosette etc.

I like those stripes too.

Just a heads up, bending is not even close to the hardest part of building an instrument.
Tell me - I come from classical guitar making background, and I didn't expect ukes to be easier!!
The previous - guitar side - bending was done on a decidedly dodgy homemade al pipe plus electric fire element - the wonder is I'm still here to tell the tale. lol

Bending is the most fun part!! Its a bit scary and very satisfying to massage a piece of wood into a curve over a hot pipe. I'd say the hardest part is binding. Its just there for decoration and you can really screw it up in a big way. :uhoh:
