New uke day - K. Wave Rock Uke

The mail man delivered my newest prize. It's a white K. Wave Rock Uke. I got this on EBay. This model was discontinued but I think they make other colors. It's shaped like a mini telecaster. It's hollow so it sounds OK unplugged but it's better jacked into the Strret Cube amp. All plastic, the tuners work quite well. I think these might be the original strings (black with high g), they sound good but will be replaced eventually with Worth's.

I'm pleased with it. Will it imbue me with greater skill? Hell no, but it looks cool.

Pictures of the new Rock Uke with some of it's siblings. The discoloration on the pick guard is just the plastic that protects it. It's never been fully peeled off.

I've got the burgundy version of that. It's a shame they stopped making them so quickly. It always gets a comment when I bring it anywhere. I hope you enjoy it.

I'm definitely taking it to my next ukulele club session. Time for some Wayne's World type shredding.
