Bought my first uke from HMS- Pono MT-PC . I had it set up with Worth clears and tuned to low G. It came with two wound strings and two regular. After a while, I realized it was difficult to form chords. My fault, I didn't know what I was doing when I ordered. A friend loan me a OS tenor standard tuning and Aquila strings. What a difference in playing. Spoke with Andrew at HMS and he suggested Worth Clear CT w/low G. I'm open to any other brands you care to suggest. Should I just go to Aquila's? Thanks.

If you like the sound of the aquila and it's easier to play than the strings on your pono, then yes, you should. There's a high G set of D'addario medium tension strings which were okay for my ukulele. But yeah, I hope you can find what you're looking for :)

Try D'Addario Nyltech Tenors. They are similar looking to Aquilas but have a creamy look and softer texture.
