Replacing grover buttons

I apologize in advance for the newbie dumb nature of this question, but how difficult is it to replace the buttons on a set of Grover geared tuners? I have a Kanilea with gold tuners and I really would prefer these pearloid buttons. Is that even possible with the type of tuners I have or do I need to try to replace the entire tuner?

And if that is the case, is it possible to replace open geared tuners with closed geared ones?
