For those of you with deep pockets there's the rarest of the rare a Gibson poinsettia uke on ebay. I'm not a bidder myself but I'm curious about what the "experts" think? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1929-GIBSON-POINSETTIA-SOPRANO-UKULELE-RARER-THAN-MARTIN-A-SOUND-INVESTMENT-/160996067312?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Sting_Instr uments&hash=item257c1d07f0

Aloha Gary,
this uke has been on for the last six month...I think it started of like 16,000 way back then with no sale....

I'm no expert, but I am a Gibson fan [I own a baritone, and owned a tenor.] and this just doesn't do anything for me. It probably doesn't sound much different than their "plain " soprano. I'd much rather have this. I bet it would sound amazing.

Aloha Stan, hope that you're feeling well! So this one has been discussed before. Strum - doesn't do much for me either except as an interesting piece of uke history. More of a curiosity item, that because of rarity, has been touched by King Midas. cheers, g2
