My first uke, a pre-loved Pono AT! Bought here in the maketplace and not a mark on it (nada)! I did my research and for the money, I don't think anything can touch a used Pono (IMHO).

It came strung with Southcoast linears (low G) & sounds absolutely amazing. No boom from the G string, just deep rich sound while keeping thre crsip highs from the Acacia tenor. I ordered a set of Fremont Blacklines in high G and their new wound low G, but I don't know that I'll put them on, the Southcoast's sound perfect.

I'll put up a review later, but I can't think of a nicer uke to start with. My fingers are feeling the pain, but I'm in heaven!

Congratulations! I, too, have a Pono AT and I love it. I have mine strung with Living Waters in high g. It has a beautiful sound. I think I'll order a set of Southcoast strings, though, because I've heard such great things about them.

congratulations on your new Pono! I have the same model and am very happy with it. enjoy!

Thanks all, I've been enjoying it everyday. It's a more capable instrument then I am a player. But when I get a chord right it sounds great. It's very rewarding and encouraging to learn on a good quality uke!

Very nice. Pono is at the top of my list for my first solid wood uke (hopefully this fall).

congrats! never hear anything bad about Ponon, all good stuff!

I'm another Pono person. Really love mine. Doing the happy string chase just now. Fremont Blacklines are good but not my final answer.

I have the Pono acacia baritone (And a Pono Mahogany tenor). Couldn't agree more...both are capable of much more than I am able to deliver. The acacia baritone is by far my favorate uke! Congrats on finding the one you love.

My first uke is about 3 weeks old and the honeymoon is anything but over. It is a Pono acacia tenor delux cutaway. Of the roughly 13 stringed instruments I have under the roof, the Pono is very high in the build quality attribute. Probably going to get an AT-5 in the next month and then wait for the upcoming Pono solid body; should be out in time for my birthday. Gotta send a birthday present request to my wife.

Congratulations! Doing one's homework is a wonderful thing that more of us (self included) should try. Ponos are terrific; I have an all-rosewood tenor that is one of my favorites. Have fun and let us know how it's going.

Congratulations, I bought a Pono AT and received it yesterday, it is absolutely fantastic and looks great to!
