New kanilea on HMS

that is one beautiful uke!
 
Beautiful instrument. And indeed, great sound too. This is definitely a welcome addition to Kanilea's lineup.
But looking at the closeups of the headstock, it becomes clear that Gilbert Tuners are worth the bucks for aesthetics. For me, the chunky headstock just looks incomplete with the small Grover tuners.
 
I can't decide if I love it or - not. It reminds me of Tanning Mom, although if any uke reminds me of Tanning Mom, it should be my all-rosewood Pono tenor.

Must be Log 52 from Joe at Kanile'a some of the nicest ukes from that log..
 
Looks like it sold already, did someone here get it?
