I would avoid, personally. Very pretty but you can do much better for your money if you're actually looking for musical instruments rather than wall hangings. That said, there are a few folks who have liked what they got, so maybe he has improved some.

If you search here you'll find several threads on the subject. If you search at google you'll find information about Taisamlu all over the internet, most of it not very favorable.

I recall posts about these folks on Mandolin Cafe. I think it is a crap shoot. Biggest risk is in getting an instrument that was built from green wood. It was clear that some were not and they seemed to hold up. But, some also were reported to have had significant wood movement.
