I inherited this from my father, who inherited it from his father. I am in southern California (Riverside)

Had a tentative deal to sell, but the buyer is not responding. Anyone interested? I can take as many pics as necessary. Only six fit on the site, though....

Okay what is the price...glad to see that sliver is still there and can be glued back in place...just love the plain unstained mahogany and awsome crazy grain patterns.. WOOW :)

If I had $800 I'd buy that yesterday!

Sorry didn't hear from you sooner, just received your msg. I've already made a move on another uke. Best of luck with the sale, Mike

This Uke is still for sale. First person to offer me $795 takes it. And I can take plenty more pictures, if necessary.

I am not an expert, but I believe this is Koa wood, so it is a 2K.

Is this not Koa wood? Or is it not a 2K?

The 2K means it is a Style 2 in koa wood. If it was mahogany, it would be called a 2M.

Any serious buyers out there? This is still for sale. I have plenty more pics. I'm in Southern California.

It's awesome. As mmstan said, it still has the sliver, which is key. I wish I was in California so I could see it in person and likely buy it if all looks there as it does here. This is a wonderful project ukulele. It's an unncommon koa 2K. Wow, why do I have to be here when that uke is there?
