SOLD

I will likely end up regretting this, but as Ginny pointed out in the seasons thread, all I'm playing anymore is my new custom, (and occasionally the baritone and 8 string), so I'm clearing out the stable.

This is a Mainland mahogany soprano with passive pickup, the Honeybee model. As you can see, it's a different purfling than Mainland's signature rope, and it's a matte finish. This one has black geared tuners. This has been a major player for me, so there is plenty of strum wear on the upper treble bout, making it go glossy there. It has a no-name passive pickup. Currently strung with Aquilas, but it also sounds great with Martins. This uke is one of my sweetest sounding.

It will come in a tweed hardshell case, which has seen its fair share of drama: the tweed has some nicks and scrapes. But the structure, latches and hinges are all great.

SOLD.

Oh man, I have always wanted a Mainland Honeybee. Too bad my bank account is empty.

Is it an under saddle pickup?

I sent a PM. Hope you got it.

I too have always wanted a honeybee, however I must not buy. I hope this uke is gone ASAP so that I am not tempted.
