After reading the humidifier post the other day I keep wondering could it be too humid for my ukulele? I live on an island off the gulf coast of Florida and we get pretty humid here. Thanks

I lived in a very humid climate for a long time, but I never really saw any negative effects on any of my instruments as a result. I know that low humidity levels are far more destructive. I guess 50% is ideal but unless there are extreme temperatures involved I wouldn't really worry too much about it. Just use common sense as far as keeping your instrument in a safe place and it should be fine. You may find that the wood will expand a little bit (most noticeabley on the fretboard) but as long as it isn't so extreme that frets become loose or dislodged, it shouldn't creat a problem. Just keep an eye on the instrument and watch for any adverse changes, but I doubt that you will have any real issues.
