I'm restoring a tenor that my dad gave my mom about 1958. It was purchased in Los Angeles. All of the maker's labels are long gone. I've attached images of what I hope will help identify the maker. The two most hopeful hints are the black and white pattern around the sound hole and the asymmetrical cut of the fretboard where it attaches to the top. Since the fret markers were paint and not inlays, I assume this is not a higher end ax.

I've attached some pics. (I hope they attach since this is my first try on this forum).

You will see lots of glue residue. I've already replaced what was left of the friction tuners with geared Grover tuners. I decided to string it and test it before refinishing it. BTW it sounds pretty sweet.
