Jake in Troy, NY April 27

Ok, so Jake and Bruce will be playing tomorrow night at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, in Troy NY tomorrow night. It will be my first time seeing either of them, other than on YouTube.

I got tickets right after the show was announced - the acoustics in this hall are wonderful, and it is about a 12-1500 seat hall. Acoustically, not a bad seat in the house. (And I just checked the box office - there are maybe 10 Balcony seats left, so it is sold-out, for all intents and purposes.

I plan to bring one of my Vita ukes with me, in case there is any pre/post concert jamming, and if the opportunity presents itself to have Jake and Bruce sign it, well that's fine too.

Anyone other UUers plan on going?

So, no other UU members saw Jake in Troy last night?




I wanted to get Bruce's autograph also, but he'd already headed back to the bus.

They did a deadly "Tokata" and "Wipeout" together.

I spent my "formative years" at RPI... That truly is an excellent music hall. Even the "crappy" seats in the uppermost balcony provide excellent acoustics. Glad you had a great time.
