Not that specifically, but something like it, and I didn't like it. Others here, however, have had some positive
experiences with something like that.

I've not used that particular one but have used other temporary external soundboard transducers. In a word, I think they are pretty awful, even more expensive ones from legitimate pickup companies with good reputations. I love internal soundboard pickups, much prefer them over under saddle piezo pickups, but sticking soundboard pickups temporarily to the outside of a soundboard doesn't work well. They tend to pick up every slightest bit of handling noise, even more so than internal soundboard pickups, and it is very easy to bump them out of close contact with the soundboard while you are playing (experience talking, on that point).
