No baritones yet for me. Some day I'll try one. But for now the other 3 sizes are enough.

Sure! I play concert and tenor myself...

I was sold on the concert, but in the last few months I have moved to tenor in a big way. I play it on claw hammer and bluegrass music. I like the sound of the concert better for both styles, but it is just easier to play with the tenor neck.

Soprano from time to time, cuz it is fun.

All of the above, I can't play just one size. Probably play sopranos the least

My browser inexplicably crashes every time I try to put my vote in, so I'll put it here for now. Right now, soprano and baritone. I'm really hoping to add tenor to that list soon. I do have access to my dad's concert Kamaka, but I usually prefer to stare at it on the wall. ;)

A couple sopranos, a few concerts, and a couple tenors.

Been thinking real hard about a u-bass.

At this moment I play mainly concerts, and occasionally use my very loud soprano for strumming.

I play a Concert Reso uke most of the time. Because of its pick up, it's the only one I use live.

I primarily play tenor, then baritone and concert necks. My Martin SO is my only 12 fret soprano and I rarely play it.

Geee...you left out sopranino and gigantico. I don't play the former but do play the latter (35" scale, tuned EADG :biglaugh: ).

soprano and baritone...I have never played a concert ukulele, and the tenor feels strange in my hands.

Soprano mostly. I only have soprano and concert. I've just ordered a new concert.

Soprano and baritone for me, so far. My mind has recently opened to the ideas of concert and tenor ukes tuned to B flat, though.

Like the sound and the playability of a concert size.

Tenor and Baritone, lately I've mostly been playing baritone.

Glad to see folks playing a variety a sizes- honestly, the voicings are different too and to me that is what makes the uke so fun....

the variety you get is astounding!

I play all four, but my preference is definitely the concert size.

I play the other sizes as "specialties" for specific songs or genres.

I play several sizes, but I'm mainly a concert player. I've been playing tenor more lately, maybe 15-20% of the time. I occasionally play soprano, especially when I want a D-tuned uke.

My husband rarely plays anything other than tenor.

I play them all - soprano because hats what my banjo is, concert cause my flea plays so easy, tenor because it is the most versatile, and baritone cause I sometimes am to lazy to learn the chords in a key I can sing in

Mainly a Tenor, but I still like to play all of them except Bari's.

I find it odd that you typically see the concert and tenor about even in these polls but it seems there are more tenors in the marketplace

Never tried a baritone, mainly concert and tenor, although leaning more towards concerts these days.

Very much soprano. I've owned and tried the other sizes. None of them quite have that classic jumping flea ukulele sound that I love.

I use the different sizes for different tunings.

I am very much a new learner and ukulele is my only instrument. Concert fits me best. Tenor is more of a challenge because of the higher string tension. I doubt I'll ever get a soprano that isn't a pineapple. My only soprano is a Lanikai pineapple soprano; it doesn't sound all that great but it is sturdy as hell. I've fiddled with it to improve the intonation. It is my camp/beach/travel uke.

As to roles each instrument plays:
I've just started using linear (low G) tuning on the tenor. That is challenging my ear, but it gives more variety. A little to guitar-like for my taste.
The KoAlana concert is my "pure pleasure" ukulele. Good intonation, feel, and fit.
The Luna concert will probably end up in linear tuning soon.
The Lanikai soprano pineapple is discussed above. The only one strung with Aquila strings.

It's all good. Ukulele don't judge.

Sort of. I mostly strum sopranos and super-sopranos/concerts and pattern pick on tenors and baritones, but it's not set in stone. Also, as someone else has mentioned, different tunings. I don't see myself ever tuning a tenor in D, for example, but I have one in Bb and C while I have sopranos in C and D and can't imagine tuning one of those down to Bb.

The longer I've played music the more I've learned that different instruments (and not necessarily different sizes) can tend to draw a particular mood or style out of me. It's not that I can't play the same thing on other instruments (and sometimes do), it's that a particular instrument just feels like it is the "right" instrument for a particular song.

I play 'em all. But the fact that I have one soprano, one concert, one bari and five tenors should tell you what size I'm most into. :p

Different songs with different ukes. Seem to be playing my newly acquired 8 string tenor a bit more than the others right now. Trying some alternate tunings for some different sounds.

Interesting results so far. Much as I prefer concerts, I would think tenors would be more popular.

Favorite is Tenor , I have 2, Moore Bettah and LFdM. next I play Baritone currently between instruments but with a David Webber on order.
Last but not least I have to own a Concert, after a recent sale I'm in the market.

I always played soprano or concert but strongly thinking
about getting a tenor soon. as a guitarist also I don't see much need for a baritone.
