Here's one for all you vintage aficionados. I was wondering if anyone could tell me a little about the manufacturer. I'm certain that "KingsTone" was nothing more than a brand or maybe the distributor and not the maker.
In fact I've only seen the black and white "dental" detail around the soundhole on one other make of ukulele - a B&J Serenader that according to the Tiki King's Ukulele Database was likely made by S.S Stewart.
Anyway, I got this fun little baritone this weekend. I got it for a song, but it's still got that deeper rich bari sound that I'm looking for.
Does anyone have any information regarding KingsTone, or any idea what year this was likely made?
I'd love to learn all I can about KingsTone and other baritones of this era.
