I bought this as a second- it has a crack on the soundboard as shown in the photo. I bought it directly from Mainland and glued the crack as Mike suggested. The fix worked just fine. While the crack shows it doesn't seem to detract at all from the amazing sound of the red cedar. I bumped the uke once and caused a small ding, also shown in the photo. Otherwise this is a grea playing uke with lots of punchy sound! I put Worth Browns on her and she sounds great. I'm selling a few ukes to I can adjust my collection to my preference for baritones.
Is has some very fine surface scratches (it is very glossy), probably from my shirt buttons and normal wear, but nothing significant that I haven't mentioned. This is a good buy for someone who wants a very nice all solid wood uke!
