Advice on starting a club

I love the ukulele and I've given the bug to other people as well. I took a ukulele workshop at the local community college last summer so I know there are ukulele players locally,I'm lonely and bored playing by myself would like any advice on starting a uke club. I have some Ideas of my own but would like to hear what ideas other people have to add.

When I started our local club back in 2010
I just went for it.I found a venue, and put
flyers and posters in the local music shops,
prepared a few song sheets and away we
went! I also advertised the Club on a few
online ukulele sites and we built up to a
good number of regulars,along with 'casuals'
who came along as and when!
Just jump in and do it,you have nothing to
lose....
