Thanks for posting. I didn't notice the Kamaka until you said it, kanaka. Good pickup. She used to be, and may still be, a Koaloha girl.

Her CD is stupendous, as you may know. Love all the young performers' 2012 releases, but hers is the tops to me.

As far as I remember Taimane has played Kamakas. In a lot of her previous vids, she played a Black custom Kamaka 8 string and in some ones, a 8 string Kamaka cutaway with what appears to be a spruce top. There's one vid, she's holding a Kala, go figga. On another, she was playing a KoAloha. She is a Kamaka girl nowadays..seems like Kamaka doing well with many of the up and coming and already established ukulele players in Hawaii..
