Retracted!

The specs:
  • Concert scale
  • Solid spruce top
  • Flamed maple back and sides
  • 14 frets to body, 18 overall

The Good:
  • Looks awesome
  • Like new condition with no scratches, dents or markings
  • Excellent sound
  • Good intonation all the way up the neck

The Bad:
  • Came with some glue spots on the fretboard (sanded down and does not affect playability)
  • The A tuner peg has to be turned the wrong way to prevent string buzz, unless using a thick gage string (again doesn't affect playability- this is due to the first string slot in the nut being a bit too wide)

Overall: I bought this uke new back in April 08. Other than changing strings, the only change I made was to adjust the action. At first, the G string tended to run a bit sharp, but by adjusting the action and changing strings, the intonation was fixed.

I'm selling it because I've decided to buy a new uke and, since I've only got enough space for two ukes it came down to selling this one or my concert fluke (which was a gift and I just can't bring myself to sell a gift...). I love this uke- it's a great uke. But, it just comes down to me spending too much time drooling over other ukes and I want to stop staring and actually get my hands on one of them.

The uke retails for about 240 bucks. I'm willing to sell to the best reasonable offer. (Reasonable being in the over 100 dollar range.)

Pics will be posted upon request.
