Going from the low G that my ukulele came setup with to a high G. My question is, will this potentially cause problems? The low G is a wound Aquila.

Possibly, but most likely not. A wound low-G isn't that much different in diameter from an unwound hi-G. Just try it and if it intonates well at the first couple of frets and doesn't buzz you're golden.

Thanks for the quick reply John, I think I will just go for it. The intonation is just so good right now. I'm the type to say "why fix what's not broken". I miss the sweet highs though.
