I have been making jigs and fixtures for my design of a pear shape tenor. I learned to make the dovetail in the heel block prior to building the body. (Works well for DS Gill) both jigs are adjustable. The neck jig angle is adjustable as well as the size of the dovetail. The neck is flush on top of the heel now. After gluing the sides to the heel block I will floss to final fit.

All good stuff....Gary ! put an indexing pin in your female cutting jig and you wont have to mark out the pitch you just move the workpiece along and hook it in and start routing again :)
