Hi All,
I have a Harmony Johnny Marvin Tenor (concert size) that I like very much. It's actually this very instrument. I had Elderly repair the bridge and set it up, and it came out great. It has a really pure, glassy tone, and it's really loud.
Here's my question: How do these plain mahogany Johnny Marvins compare with the fancier version with the airplane-bridge and curly mahogany? Are the latter just spiffier, or do they have a different sound?
