FS Southern Cross Banjo Uke based on the Gibson UB2

I have just completed this one based on the ubiquitous Gibson UB2.
Rim is Maple laminate with Rosewood accents. Neck is American Ash with a Rosewood stacked heel. Fretboard and headstock are Rosewood, position markers and headstock "cross" are Ash.Notched tension hoop with 18 tensioners, brass tone ring and calf skin vellum head. Planetary style geared tuners, Aquila strings. Resonator is Burr Walnut bound with faux tortoise shell, rather than fixing this with four screws as Gibson did, I made four brass dowels to hold the resonator on the rim. I just couldn't bring myself to put screws through the walnut

Yes. It is held on with four brass dowels. On and off in seconds.
