Staten Island Slide

Nice job. I'd forgot all about this tune. Craig Robinson writes fantastic songs of which most have vocals. This is one of his rare instrumentals.

Just a quick question about Dominator's tab: What do the parentheses mean? As in (4)

Thanks

The parens can me a couple of things. In most cases, and in this one, it simply means that the original note is sustained to include the note value of the not in the parens. The other case is that it is a ghost note or one that is unintenional or sounded softer than the other notes. Hope that makes sense.

I play that one almost every time I pick up a uke.
It's cute because there are so many "wrong" things you can do that still sound good (happy accidents, I guess), and I just go with them when I do them. Craig Robertson landed a winner with that song.
Good job on your renditions, guys!
