Okay, so it's Wednesday. I've been busy.

Last Friday at 8:20PM Pacific Time, I PM'd Telperion/Steve about his Risa Concert Stick and sent him money via paypal shortly thereafter.
He sent it out from Mass. on Saturday morning via USPS Priority Mail.
I got it on Monday afternoon here in the Pacific NW!

I've only had a chance to noodle around with it for a few hours, but I am very happy.
Sure, I have to get used to the headless part, but the fretboard and neck is similar to my soprano flea so I don't expect it to take long.

Tuning was a snap, the strings were slightly flat from travel.

Dang it's quiet w/o an amp, perfect for strumming in a hotel room.
The honeytone is gonna be a great travel amp.
I'm wondering what the next step up would be for a home amp.
I'm thinking I could get better acoustic clarity with an upgrade.
Any suggestions?

Thanks again Steve for your prompt action.

It's gonna a be a fun ride.

Depends on how much you want to spend and what your goals are. I find the lowly Roland MicroCube is just fine for home use. 'Mic' setting gives a clean realistic representation of the uke but the amp models and effects are fun also when you just feel like shredding! :music:

Congratulations on your new uke day! Like the last poster said it depends on what you want to spend. I love my fishman loudbox mini. At some point I will get a Roland AC-33 for a battery portable amp.

Congrats on your new risa concert..I have a soprano..aha you the one who scooped it up...he he yes the honeytone is a great match...happy Strummings
