Strangely enough, after never having worked on this model before, I worked on two of them in the space of a couple months now. Very cool sound -- a lot like a Vita but less chimey, which probably has some to do with the birch vs. mahogany back and sides.

Overall, a real cutie, despite the wear & tear.

I hadn't seen one of these before. That is a really neat uke. Thanks for sharing the photos.

So, Jake, is this a repair you are doing or an acquisition for resale?
 
You know, it's pretty funny when I find out I've sold something on here before I know on PayPal. :)

But yes, it "was" for sale. I have too much stuff to keep much of what I work on. I'd go insane if I did. Verrrrry insane. These things are addicting!
