It would be handy to add to my book of learning to have a fretboard diagram of the different scales in one place for practicing. I could draw one up, but I thought I'd not reinvent the wheel if there was a good one out already. What I'm envisioning is just images of the numbers overlaid on the strings for the pentatonic scale, major scales, minor scales, blues scales, etc. The pattern for the scale would be handy too, but I won't get too wishful, I can write that in :-P Does anything like this exist? Thanks!

Hi Mickey
How could all that info be shown in one diagram?
take a look here for an online version: http://ukulelehelper.com/
check out the Fretboard Roadmap book by Fred Sokolow as well.
Find a blank fretboard map template, print out a couple dozen, bind them up and get a pencil...I find it helps me learn to have to draw it up myself - by hand.
hope that helps

I was thinking multiple diagrams stacked over each other. All on one or two sheets. I have a copy of the fretboard roadmap lying open on my desk. I was working through it last night which is what gave me the idea incidentally. I bet you are going to tell me there are cheat sheets in the book and I should have read further :-P Cause that would be embarrassing haha.

You know, a couple months ago I saw all of those and glossed over them, I guess cause I wasn't ready to see them yet, and then forgot that I saw them until I read your post. I look at them this morning and they make sense. I'm so thankful you pulled them back up. That will be very useful.
