Hi All

I am interested in purchasing a good quality plastic ukulele, people seem to recommend the maccaferri islander ukulele as a good example.

If you have a good condition maccaferri islander ukulele you could part with please let me know. And also how much you would like for it. :)

I am in tk uk.

I've been vaguely thinking about selling my TV PAL. Would that be of interest?

it's quite tidy, I had to fix one of the hole strings on the bridge but it works fine now.

Let me know if of interest and I'll post some pics and think about price if so...

Thanks for the info will check out ebay, dont know much about the plastic ukuleles just after something that sounds good or at least OK and can take where my nice wood uku's cant go! i.e. the outside world....:)

There quite fun but have a distinctive placky sound that you may or may not like. Plus the tuning is a bit of an art.

I'd be looking for about 60 posted for the TV Pal.

TBH you might be better off with a cheap 'normal' uke - like a Makala Dolphin or something. They sound ok and don't owe you anything if they get damaged.

Or there's always the modern plastic ukes. Like these:
