12 fret uke

Hi, I am totally new to ukulele underground and I signed up hoping hoping to find tabs for songs but thats beside the point, is it bad for a ukulele just to have 12 frets? I'm new at the ukulele. I just got it for Christmas and I just want your opinion.

Not at all, 12 fret ukes (Soprano sized) are totally fine. All ukes no matter the size are all the same but have different tones depending on what type you have. However, if the brand of the uke is bad, that changes everything.

I got it off of ebay. It was $40 and its a santini i mean i think its good quality i jsut need to change the strings.

K well when you buy strings, try out some Aquilas from MGM on eBay.

its probably good that you have a 12 fret uke since your just a beginer, you can familiarize yourself first with the basic chords n basic picking.
