Deep Sea Blue semi hollow body progress

2nd version of this design. Walnut body with curly maple top and neck. Working one new pickup design for it which is requiring me to learn how to cast plastic in silicone molds These are pics after the first coats of dye have been applied. I will sand these down with 800 grit then start to spray lacquer if I ever get a day with less than 100% humidity around here!

I envy all the people here with space and tooling to do this. It's my dream to do that stuff, and I don't have
the space, tooling, or bucks.

I only have a workbench and a small drill press and tiny tablesaw. Luckily however, our community has a shared workshop that I can drop in for $10 a day.
