I came across an old post from a member (deach) , see link below, that was a review of a Mike Ayers tenor made in California and sold by Buffalo bros.in 2009.

I have an M1 tenor model in redwood with an arched Paduak back and sides and cocobolo head plate, fingerboard and bridge made by Mike Ayers purchased from Buffalo bros.in 2009, at the time they said he was a local builder.

Are any members familiar with this builder?

It seems like a high quality hand built uke.

Here are some pictures of my Mike Ayers uke, redwood top with curly redwood rosette, arched paduak back and sides, and cocobolo headstock, fingerboard and bridge with abalone inlay.
